What to Bring Along
You are allowed to bring a maximum of 60 pounds of luggage, due to remote bush plane
airstrips. Pack your gear in 2 soft duffle bags less than 3 feet long.
Below is a basic list of what will be needed. We will send you a much more detailed list
specific to the hunt you will be on in the spring before your hunt.
- 1 pair leather boots (meindle, kenetrek type)
- 1 pair rubber bottomed insulated boots (later hunts)
- 1 pair camp shoes (tennis shoes / crocs)
- 2 pairs gloves (one winter)
- hunting hat
- warm coat
- sweater
- underwear
- wool socks
- rain coat and pants (good quality)
- personal belongings, reading material, medication, etc.
- towel
- sleeping bag according to time of year (October can be -20 C) not too bulky....
- soft day pack or larger internal frame pack
- flashlight / *head lamp / water bottle / chap stick
- camera, batteries, and film
- binoculars (10x40) / spotting scope (optional)
- rifle / ammunition (40-60 rounds)
we recommend you bring a rifle that you are
comfortable shooting
- any spirits you wish to have in camp
